- Materials – Approved grades of split/full-grain leather; specified thickness; permitted linings; suitable thread/reinforcements.

- Dimensions & Sizing – Standard sizes with tolerances for palm width, finger length, and overall length; clear size marking.
- Workmanship – Uniform stitching, adequate stitches per inch, no loose ends or visible defects; edges skived/bound where specified.
- Marking & Labelling – ISI mark (post-license), size, batch/lot, manufacturer name/CM/L, month & year of manufacture.
- Packing & Storage – Clean, dry packaging; protection from moisture, oil, and heat during storage/transport.
