Certification Process
- Application – Brand/model list, variants, BoM, circuit/enclosure details, adapter/battery data, labels, and QC plan.
- Sample Testing – Safety, EMC, performance, documentation & marking evaluation per applicable Indian Standard(s).
- Factory Readiness – Incoming QC, routine/acceptance tests, safety fixtures, calibration, traceability & records.
- Registration/License – Grant of BIS Registration/CM/L; marking/registration details finalized.
- Surveillance – Periodic audits, sample draws from market/plant, and continued compliance updates.
